A NEW
'NOSTALGIC' MUSICAL REVUE
Featuring the songs you know from the 40's/50's/60's
Starring:
Sandi Durell and Larry Strickler
What happens when two old friends meet again after 35 years?
SANDI DURELL and LARRY STRICKLER did just that and discovered they're still 2 of a Kind and make beautiful music together.
They thought about the music of their era... about growing up in the late 40's, early 50's and 60's... the music they heard on the Philco Radio, "Make Believe Ballroom" and "Your Hit Parade" ; music they heard on the street corners and in those wonderful Broadway shows. There were the Andrews Sisters, Four Lads, Johnnie Ray, Eddie Fisher, Perry Como, Jo Stafford, Kay Starr, Teresa Brewer, Connie Francis, Chuck Berry;
"Pajama Game", "Guys & Dolls", "Annie Get Your Gun", "Fiddler on the Roof", "South Pacific" "My Fair Lady", "Oliver"... Don't forget about those Latin & Calypso Rhythms... mambo, cha cha, merengue. WOW! They could go on and on, and they do... in a fun-filled, innovative revue filled with unforgettable songs.
They share this musical history with audiences everywhere as they sing, dance and take you along on this journey. Revel in a nostalgic time capsule as '2 of a Kind' provides entertainment for all ages and many Moments To Remember filled with Musical Delights !
2 of a Kind offers a "lucky strike extra." Larry, a man of many hats, is also a historian. He can provide an after-talk plus Q&A on the popular culture of the 40's and 50's which would include insight into Broadway and the movies. Larry currently holds an adjunct position at Baruch College.
